General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a European regulation which covers the ways in which an Employer (known as a data controller) is required to collect, store, protect, and destroy personal data about any person or people, including Employees, clients, subcontractors, and other workers. You are required as a business to lay out policies and procedures on how data is to be handled and who is responsible for that data.
