Grievances are unpleasant for a company to deal with – it is not a pleasant experience to find out an Employee has an issue with something you have done. Still, it is likely you will have to deal with a grievance or appeal at some point, much like you will have to deal with a performance review. Formal grievances can be about everything from dissatisfaction about how your company has held a disciplinary, to issues with how a policy or procedure from the Employee Handbook or Contract of Employment is handled in the real world, to issues with how your company is handling their data, or even more serious concerns like workplace abuse.
This toolkit contains a variety of template documents to help you work through a grievance or appeal process, including tools for performing investigations such as reports, correspondence with the aggrieved, outcome letters and postponement letters.
